Home Learning

Home learning is an essential part of a child’s learning and development. It influences their thoughts, feelings and experiences of the world. When parents/carers/adults support and encourage their child’s learning both at home and at school, it will have a positive effect on their development. It is important that school adults work with families to support their child, please let us know if you need any help with this. We want to work with you to ensure your child is the best they can be.

To support this, all children are given fridge guides with QR codes that link to the relevant online learning, and which contain all of their individual logins and passwords. Where families have no access to a device, other than a mobile phone, Beacon View operated a device loan service with the aim of supporting as many families as possible. If you have a child in the school and would benefit from this loan system, please contact the main office, who will take some details and we will see if we can help.
